Client Services Specialist
Part time, weekend position (possibly some weekdays) available for a person who is passionate about local tourism, enjoys helping people and thrives in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist visitors by providing information on local attractions, events, dining, and lodging
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to voicemail inquiries
- Monitor and respond to email inquiries related to tourism and visitor services
- Process and fulfill Visitor Guide requests via mail
- Accurately track and record guide distribution and visitor data in spreadsheets
- Retrieve and distribute incoming mail
- Feel comfortable opening the center upon arrival and securing the building at closing
Qualifications
- Passion for tourism, hospitality, or community engagement
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data tracking
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to lift and move materials up to approximately 35 lbs
