Did you know the arts and culture scene in Racine is alive and well? Are YOU a part of it?
One hidden jem in downtown Racine is the 6th Street Theatre run by the nonprofit community theatre group - Over Our Head Players. Join the 'drama club' and see a play with us!
The play is 'Good People' by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, a tough and tender dramedy. It's an affectionate look at the “Haves,” the “Have Nots,” and the unshakable hope that arises from having next to nothing.
If this were a movie, we think it would be rated “PG-13” for some adult language.
$30 event fee includes appetizers at Vero International Cuisine and the show ticket. There will be a cash bar at both the restaurant and theatre.
6:00pm - meet at Vero, 211 6th Street - upstairs room
7:40pm - walk down the block to the 6th Street Theatre, 318 6th Street
8:00pm - show start
