MEMBER EVENT: Caring Without Bias Lunch and Learn: Improving LGBTQ+ Healthcare Experiences

Join Herzing University on Thursday, August 7^th as they welcome Ms. Andie Waara for our “Caring without Bias: Improving LGBTQ+ Healthcare Experiences” Lunch and Learn. Ms. Waara is an APSW with clinical experience working with the LGBTQ+ population and has numerous years navigating the healthcare industry advocating for members of the LGBTQ+ community. She will discuss biases, discrimination, and common difficulties that the LGBTQ+ community encounters in the healthcare field and how nurses/providers can improve on those and their care overall!
