COMMUNITY EVENT: Koos for Kids Day at Miller Park
Koos for Kids Day at Miller Park raises funds for The Koos for Kids Foundation founded 11 years ago by Racine's own Marcus Hanel (bullpen catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers) and his wife Jill. The foundation is dedicated to helping terminally ill children and children with disabilities.

Proceeds from event sponsor donations and ticket sales help offset costs of a summer baseball league for kids with disabilities and also pays for winter coats that are given to needy children at various Southeastern Wisconsin elementary schools each fall.
